Have you ever made homemade milk? In this article, we’ll show you how to make Almond Milk a substitute for milk and store-bought nut pints of milk, making it a delicious, creamy, and healthy alternative.

How to Make Almond Milk

Making milk at home is easy and worth the effort. All you need to do are almonds and water. Here you can play with some additions such as Medjool dates to increase the sweetness, a little sea salt, and pure vanilla extract to improve the flavor.

The first step: weeks

Soak the raw almonds for 8-24 hours.

Step 2: Drain and rinse

Drain and rinse the almonds.

Step 3: Mix with water

Add the rinsed and soaked almonds to a blender with 3-4 cups of water. If you are making milk for the first time, start with 3 cups, review the consistency you like, and adjust as needed. I used four cups for me.

Mix almonds and water in high-key for 60 seconds until smooth.

The fourth step: strain

Filter the milk through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth and put it in a jar or a large measuring cup and after filtering, pour it into a storage container. If you sift it into a bowl, you can use a funnel to pour it into a storage tank.

How to Use Homemade Almond Milk

Homemade milk is smooth, creamy, delicious, healthy and much better than store-bought milk. This is how I like to use it:

  • Foamed and used to cover homemade latte.
  • As a coffee creamer (try to make with less water to get a stronger creamer).
  • As a basis for tight.
  • Make stovetop oatmeal and oatmeal.
  • Make Chia Pudding.
  • Oatmeal or oatmeal.
  • Making golden milk.

Plus, you know that your homemade milk is made from just one natural ingredient and has no gum, carrageenan, preservatives, or added flavorings so that you can rely on it.

That said, I still buy silk milk every week. My husband and I have gone through a lot of the smoothie making process, and while making our smoothies is easy, it’s often not always feasible to make smoothies. We mainly use them in smoothies, but store purchases are appropriate.

For very inexpensive homemade plant-based milk, I recommend that oat milk only needs 1 cup of oatmeal for every 3-4 cups of water, and it’s straightforward to make.

I would recommend organic, unprocessed almonds. If you can’t choose organic almonds, almonds are the next best choice. I don’t recommend using roasted almonds as they often add oil and salt.

You can use maple syrup, dates, or raw honey to sweeten almond milk. I usually stay the same, but it depends on your goal, depending on your destination. If you want to enjoy almond milk alone or in the coffee, you can add a little sweetness, and I recommend adding 1-2 dates to the blender.

You can add soaked almonds to the blender to create different flavors of milk, and you can add almost anything. I recommend that you keep it simple from the start and try some pure vanilla extract and a little sea salt.
